I have blackheads, and get those tiny red pimples, so I tend to use foundation on parts of my face. I've never broken out because of it. It can also stay on for a hours (even though I have an oily nose), so I don't have to worry about my blackheads being exposed. I have pores on my cheeks, and this foundation seems to make it appear smaller. It's pretty subtle too--most of my friends are surprised when I tell them that I'm wearing make-up.
I was going to buy another bottle, but found out that it was discontinued...

This is my HG foundation and probably the best I've ever used, and sadly, I found out today that this product has been discontinued. After searching for it and unable to find it on Maybelline's website, I decided to contact them directly and received an email today stating that it was discontinued.
According to the Maybelline rep, FitMe is supposed to be similar. Maybe that will take my favorite foundation's place!

I was so impressed by Maybelline's MINERAL POWER liquid foundation at first, but sadly that first impression was misleading.

I have skin that’s pale and dry, so it’s really hard to find a product that works for me. I found this really easy to blend into the skin, leaving it silky smooth, with an almost poreless look and glowing satin finish. Best of all, there were no patches of dry skin on my face, which almost every other foundation I’ve tried has left and it lasted all day on me.

Now for the negative: A Maybelline foundation has done it again. I saw my reflection in a store window whilst out shopping and took a double take, MINERAL POWER oxidises enormously. I looked like I belonged on Jersey Shore. This foundation ended up in the bin.

Maybelline’s US shade selection is a heck of a lot better then the UK choice. I'm between a n10 and n15 in MAC foundations and wore Light 1 (porcelain ivory) in MINERAL POWER.

The UK edition's colour selections are pitiful. The lightest shade is too dark and orange. For the US version you get a clear choice of light, medium or dark, then within that there’s a further shade choice of 1, 2 and 3.

This is the first foundation I will actually repurchase. It's easy to put on (I use my fingers, but you can easliy use a brush aswell). Covers quite good and blends in with my skin tone.
Doesn't make me break out, and it works very well to use on my dry skin.
The skin looks very good, glowy and "moist" afterwards.
This has actually been so good and because it's mineral, I'm actually scared to try some other foundation that's not =)

This is just like a tinted moisturiser. No breakouts for my combo/oily skin.Good coverage and dewy nice finish. The one negative is can easily rub off onto tops or during exercise.

This is fine. Not amazing, not terrible: fine. It covers, and leaves a relatively natural finish, with a bit of 'glow' (read: oiliness, if it's that time of the month). Sticks around if you're going out for a few hours, but no chance at all if you're out for the full day. Hasn't made me break out, but doesn't make my skin look amazing either. Saying that, it's cheap, so I'll keep using it for unimportant events until it's finished. There are definitely better foundations out there, but there are worse too.

What I like about this product, its quality on the skin and the strength it has on the combination skin and in my case im ligh and slight red spots from waxing, but this by far fixes are those little immperfections,I have sand beige at this moment because i like the tan look as I have darker Hair, but I also but Ivory for my under eyes. because sometimes you dont want to place too much of a white under the eyes looking racoonish.! and I bought Tan just for fun so I can use contouring where I feel I have some cheekbone action provide myself some contour! I love it for its price half what MAC does with their prices

I bought this in Tan (Dark 1) and Medium Beige (Medium 3) for myself and my sister, respectively. The colours match our skin tones perfectly. I did not need a new foundation at the time but I have always had positive experiences with Maybelline foundations; and this was on sale so I figured I would try it out. It feels very light and gives medium coverage. My skin looked amazingly even and almost airbrushed. At work, I had to wash a mop with extremely hot water from a hose and I started to sweat but my makeup stayed on. I used Maybelline Mineral Power Pressed Powder on top of this. I also used L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base under this but I have worn it with different primers and the results are pretty much the same.

This and the Superstay 24 hr are similar i think. This gives good coverage and still feels easy on the skin. I don't know how "good" it really is for the skin, but of course it's a pro that it says it's mineral. I don't think i have anything bad to say, this is a good foundation if you want medium coverage.

Perfect dupe for my Hourglass veil foundation. I was looking for a cheap foundation which gives a dewy look the same as my Hourglass. It gives a natural luminous look for dry skin. I dont recommend it for oil skin because it can get oily easily. The color is perfect for my NC30 skin as well. Coverage is sheer-medium. Drugstore foundation usually leaves a powder streak on my face but not this one.
I've been using it every day since I bought it.

Hmm. I have mixed feelings about this one. I bought it in the summer and it made me break out, but I loved the color (perfect for my skin tone!) and the consistency. So I threw it in my make up drawer and forgot about it. Well, since it's winter, my normally oily skin has been super dry and using just a powder doesn't cut it. On a lark I pulled this back out and have been using it for the last month. No break outs that seem to be caused by this this time! And it really does make my skin look so much better, but not in that "covered up" kind of way. It's so natural, it doesn't look like you're wearing anything, you just kind of glow and look healthier.
So, I guess this is a good winter foundation if you've got oily issues? I won't be using it in the summer/spring months, that's for sure!

    I would give this 3.5/5
its quite good for a ds product but can accentuate dry patches on dry skin and it could make oily zones get oilier faster.
if i use a good moisturiser + mattifier on oily zones + finishing powder it looks pretty, dewy and natural for ~5 hours.
It feels light enough and doesnt clog pores. I like this and dream liquid as an everyday foundations.

This is one of the best foundations that I have had in a long time. Im suffering with acne and it does a really good job at covering it up. Plus, this product is one of the only ones that is actually my skin tone. It helps if I put on some mosturizter before putting on any foundation though.

This is slightly sheer & runny, but can be built up for more coverage. It does stay on well, but isn't marketed as a long wearing product & therefore doesn't stay on as well as ones designed to. Though because my skin is dry it works for me, I wouldn't recommend it for oily skinned girls/boys since it can be a bit greasy if you're skin to begin with is oily. Wouldn't recommend it for people with skin that needs heavy coverage, but if you're like me & you have skin that doesn't need heavy coverage but you want something that does impart somewhat medium coverage without the mask effect, this is good. Plus it's the only foundation I own that doesn't break me out. continued >>

I agree with most of the comments below. This product has no staying power, little coverage and takes forever to dry. It's not terrible, I'll use it up but I don't reccomend this unless you want a tinted moisturiser.

Color matching: There's a good variety of colors to choose from but I'm not one of those gifted enough to tell from the bottle what color is right for me. I'm Asian with NC35ish MAC color and bought the Medium Light beige. The foundation came on as being too peachy and plastic as if it came melted off of a barbie doll.
Coverage: Light coverage but can be built to medium with an additional layer. I used my fingers but a brush might distribute the foundation a bit better. Maybe. I had to apply two layers to get the desired coverage.
Shine: Definitely got oily after about 10 minutes of being on my face. I had to put on blot powder every 2hrs to keep the shine away.
Claims: This foundation claims that it will improve skin smoothness and luminosity as well as hydration. If you count oiliness as hydration I was pretty well "hydrated." Other then that the foundation did none of this. It actually caused a few minor pimples.
Smell: Like watered down paint...I could use this in art class -_-
Price: Cheap...got it on sale for $5.49 and some people got it cheaper.
I wouldn't buy this again unless it was the only foundation option.

I wanted to try a mineral foundation and I prefer liquids, so I was pretty excited when I came across this product. I'm pretty fair skinned with reddish/pinkish undertones so I chose the Porcelain Ivory shade. It matched my skin really well and I'm very happy with the colour. Unfortunately I found this foundation really accentuated any dry spots on my skin, and since my skin is probably only going to get drier as we move into winter, this just isn't going to work for me. I do like the consistency and coverage, and I like the packaging, but this won't me making a regular appearance in my makeup bag until I have perfectly moisturized skin :(

I have combination skin & found this foundation has no staying power on my skin, even when I set it with powder. It lasts 3-4 hours at best, after that I find that it looks as if I never even put it on. It's more like a slightly heavier tinted moisturiser than a foundation though. Feels very nice on the skin & didn't break me out, however I'm looking for something that will last on my face a little longer! continued >>
